About Linux Enjoyer

“What is Linux? How much does it cost? Did you crack it? Are you a hacker?!“
Those are the questions I get whenever someone saw me using Linux. Being a Linux user who studied Digital Marketing, I saw an opportunity. Why don’t I try to market Linux? That was my thesis and, that was how my blog came to be.
My blog is about Linux from the eye of a regular user delivered in casual manner. Someone who is not an IT professional, just enjoying Linux as the name implies.
If you are curious about Linux, looking for more casual take on Linux, this is for you.
If you are not using Linux (yet), or may be not interested at all, feel free to check the Free Software recommendations (under construction).
If you have no reason in particular, stick around, who knows if you will find it here.
Linux is not the only thing I write about. Check out the Blog tab. I write CTF walkrthrough, mental model, even an opinion piece like this.
Why don’t you study computer science?
I was, and I dislike it. I was a computer science student in an ivy league university, dreaming of becoming a Linux sysadmin and work my way to a red team operator.
That wasn’t the case at all. People know Linux but barely use it. As my high school friend said, “This place is ruled by the Tech Giants.”
I seek out employment but it was not any better. I trained to become a developer, but what I get was Microsoft tools which I have left behind. I don’t like how rigid everything is.
In the end, I realize that I’m just a Linux user, not an IT professional. Thus, I went to a local business school, working on my idea to market Linux for non-technical users. Not that I want to beat Microsoft but I’m just looking for a friend.
